Easter at Anchor

16th March 2016 / City

The death and resurrection of Jesus are by far the most significant events in history and profoundly relevant for our lives today.

But not everyone was convinced about the resurrection.

Thomas, one of Jesus closest friends and followers had a hard time believing that Jesus was alive. Jesus appeared to Thomas and graciously met him in his doubt to move him towards faith.

“Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” John 20:27

We’d love you to join us on Easter Sunday and discover the life-altering truth that Jesus is alive.

Anyone can come to Anchor, even if you’ve never been to church before. We want you to feel welcome and comfortable.

There’ll be great music, a talk about Jesus from the Bible, and a fun kids program, and we’d love to get to know you over a delicious morning tea.
