Anchor Church Sydney was planted in May of 2014 in a small warehouse theatre on the urban perimeter of Sydney. We have a bold vision of seeing many lives radically transformed by Jesus, and are seeking someone with an infectious love for Jesus to join our dynamic and growing staff team.
EXECUTIVE PASTOR (4 days)
Reporting to the Lead Pastor, the Executive Pastor (XP) must be a highly effective and gifted leader, assisting strategic implementation of the vision for Anchor Church. This is a significant and long-term appointment towards our vision of making disciples and planting churches.
Core Responsibilities include: Operational Oversight of the church working closely with the Board of Operations, Sunday Gathering oversight including venue liaison, calendar and events, database and app management, communications, project management, and high-level administrative support to the lead pastor.
Secondary Responsibilities (depending on giftedness): occasional preaching, service leading, and pastoral care.
Key Projects: Assist in launching a second service, assist in implementation of a Leadership Pipeline.

- Minimum of 5 years experience in Christian ministry
- Committed to a missional ecclesiology
- Experience working in organisational leadership
REMUNERATION
The role is a part-time (4 day/week) position, with the possibility for increasing to full-time as our church grows. Remuneration will be set according to our remuneration guidelines and in accordance with experience and training.
