Over the next few months, we’re going to be interviewing some of our Anchor Family to find out how God has been working in their lives. First up, here’s Samantha Viglione!
1. What do you love about Anchor Church?
I love that Anchor is dedicated to being on mission for Jesus. I love being part of something so much bigger than myself and seeking how to love people in active ways. I love being regularly reminded of the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross and rejoicing that we are sons and daughters of the King of Kings.
2. How has God been at work in your life since joining Anchor?
God has provided so much growth in the last year that I have been at Anchor. The vision of the church encourages me to live boldly for Jesus and pursue my personal relationship with him.
3. Tell us about your experiences of being in community at Anchor.
Being at Anchor has been such an exciting and faith filled journey… My husband, Isaac, and I got connected with Anchor very early on and have loved watching so many great young men and women come to Anchor. The friendships that we have formed at Anchor will definitely continue throughout life. We love knowing we have this great big family that will help us in times of need and celebrate with us in good times.
4. How does Anchor equip you to live on mission in everyday life?
Our Gospel Community is a really great avenue where we are able to encourage each other to be on mission for Jesus. This happens in two ways. The first is that we seek ways to serve the community together as a group. The second is that we are able to pray for, encourage and follow up with each other on our everyday mission.
