“Comedians are our world’s philosophers. You hear them, and you go, ‘Oh, that’s so true!’ Laughing is a way of agreeing with something. They debunk what’s happening in the world.
“A lot of their content is about their own brokenness, and throwing themselves into more brokenness so they have more to say on stage. It’s a bit of a cycle. In my relationship with other comedians, I want to encourage them, be different, love them, show them they don’t need to do these things to be funny!
“For my shows, I’m passionate about coming up with content that people can laugh at and agree with, but speaks to something deeper. You can debunk some deep beliefs in comedy. It’s like a Jenga tower, you can pull pieces away. I want my comedy to be a conversation starter.”
